Catalog Description
Covers strategies for developing maintainable and efficient server-side Web applications. Topics include object-oriented methodology, server-side scripting languages, sessions, database integration with web applications, and web site security.
Prerequisite(s)
CSCI 1260 with a B- or better and CSCI 1210 with a C or better and CSCI 2020 with a C or better
Course Outcomes
- Write applications in one current server-side scripting language. ( Student Outcome IS1 )
- Execute basic SQL from server-side scripting with XHTML tagging.
- Work with modern development tools
- Develop a secure, real-world server-side application that interacts with a database. ( Student Outcome IT1 )
