Catalog Description
Introduces concepts and skills necessary to install, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot computers and computer networks. Topics may include installation and replacement of devices interfacing with the motherboard, installation and troubleshooting of operating systems and computer applications, the OSI model of network operation, principles of TCP/IP network operation, bridging, switching, and routing.

CSCI 1100 with a C- or better
